Designer and Director, MAP
Alex Hulme is Director of Map Project Office, a design studio founded by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby that specialises in strategic industrial design and connected products.
Alex graduated from Royal College of Art, Design Products course in where he studied under Ron Arad, Sam Hecht and Durrell Bishop. Prior to Map, Alex worked at a series of studios in the UK and US including Nokia, Samsung, Lunar, Tangerine and Tom Dixon. Since joining Map in 2013 he has worked on many of the studios key projects for clients such as Google, Deutsche Telekom, Fortnum & Mason, Joseph Joseph and Beeline.
He is an Associate Lecturer at Central St Martins and Visiting Tutor at the Royal College of Art and ECAL.
